Is there still a role for the DSM in the future of Dutch mental health care?

On July 2nd, the Lemon Tree Center organizes a closed expert meeting with psychiatrists, philosophers, psychologists and psychotherapists about the role of the DSM within Dutch mental health care. The current system is faces many challenges such as long waiting lists, high costs and inaccessibility for people who arguably need help the most. Many have pointed towards problems surrounding the DSM, and hence the goal of this expert meeting is to bring together experts from a variety of disciplines to discuss whether and to what extent a post-DSM psychiatry may be necessary, and what that would look like.
